The Arrival of Kings Quest

To aid in our storytelling, we have decided to use as research the infamous seeries, King
s quest, Myst and Monkey Island (I see many gone hours this weekend as soon as i finish my photo theory essay :(). Since our project is to a certain degree a step up from that, we need to see how to create a flexible, and interesting point and click environment. Since essentially that is what we are creating except for the fact that it is virtual reality.

Evolving from Flash

Right! So since the last update plenty has happend to our project, We have decided to take the leap away from flash, onto the 3D design plane. Our final project is aimed to create a 3d world stressing the senses via a virtual reality environment. To do so, we are hoping to find a way to upload our game to a PSP, and have it interact with GPS or other technologies to display a 3d world onto a visual helmet. The aim is that as the user moves in the real world ,he will be moving in the virtual world. Building up from that we want to create an environment which stresses human emotions such as fear, or paranoia.

Adam may hate flash...but i am growing to hate blogger

Here is my third attempt at writing out my first post

And so! here i am again, in seccond attempt to write out my blog considering that my first post, any attempt to touch it or fix it up whatsoever ends in a crash.

Firstly I would like to note that upon my discovery it is possible to embedd flash into blogger, using the following code;

iframe src="http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/10/15/1512826/complete%20bollocks2.swf"

and donf forget to close with an /iframe just after

Day ONE

Today Adam and I find ourselves locked in the marylebone library frantically working through the flash work assigned last week
(I have a perfectly legitimate excuse for procrastinating, considering that im moving houses (again) tomorrow and ive yet to
complete my packing, and that ive had guests over the weekend). Anywhoo today finds us attempting to interpret gravity in of
a lemmings wannabe game. However we have both used exactly the same code, same process etc etc, and the folliwing is the result
of our efforts

My End result (you may have to refresh to see what it does)

Adam's End Result

And so he said...let there be FLASH take two

....and so he said...let there be FLASH! (1:1 Book of wooHoo)

And so beggins (once again) my foray into programming and the ever elusive chaos that is Flash. Other than class time today can be considered day one.
